[en] Remove Old Scorecards from the Reporting Database

[en] Acrolinx stores your Scorecards in the reporting database. To stop your reporting database from overflowing, Acrolinx automatically removes older Scorecards. By default, every night at 2 am, local time, Acrolinx removes any Scorecards that are older than 7 days.

[en] However, it's possible to configure when and how often Acrolinx removes old Scorecards, and how old the Scorecards should be.

Tipp

[en] If you're on an Acrolinx Private Cloud 35469215 instance and are interested in these configurations, contact us and we'll set them for you!

[en] If you're a Standard Stack user, you can edit the coreserver.properties from the configuration directory. Depending on your installation, your path might look like this:

[en] <config directory>/server/bin/coreserver.properties.

[en] Configurations Steps for Standard Stack

  1. [en] Open the coreserver.properties.

  2. [en] Configure the following properties:

[en] scorecardPurging.minAgeInDays=7

[en] Remove Scorecards older than this many days.

[en] scorecardPurging.cron.schedule=0 0 2 * * ?

[en] Use a quartz cron expression to set how often and when Acrolinx should remove old Scorecards.

[en] scorecardPurging.cron.timeZone={local time zone or UTC}

[en] Set the time zone for the scheduled Scorecard removal job.
