[en] In short: The AI Assistant lets you generate content that aligns with your style guide.
[en] The AI Assistant lets you generate content and optimize drafts with the help of Artificial Intelligence. To make sure the Assistant's output aligns with your preferred style, Acrolinx checks the generated content against your style guides.

[en] The output of the AI Assistant isn't fact checked. If you use it to generate new content, make sure to review the content for accuracy and truthfulness.
[en] If available, you can access the Assistant via the Sidebar.
[en] To open the AI Assistant, follow these steps:

[en] Open the Sidebar in your preferred authoring environment.

[en] Click the AI Assistant icon to open the assistant in a new browser window.
[en] The AI Assistant can help you generate ideas and create content. Tell Acrolinx what you want to write, and get text suggestions that align with your style guide.
[en] To generate content, follow these steps:

[en] Open the Sidebar and click the AI Assistant tab. If needed, select a style guide from the list of available style guides. By default, the Assistant will use the style guide settings from the Sidebar.

[en] Enter a prompt with some specifics. This could be a question, task, or topic. For example, "Write a paragraph about...'. To learn more, visit [en] How to Use the AI Assistant.

[en] Click the arrow icon or press the Enter key to submit your request. The output and Acrolinx Score will appear after a few seconds.

[en] Optional: To adjust the output, give Acrolinx additional instructions like "Summarize it," "Make it shorter," or "Give me another example." This will create a new text output.
[en] If you've already created content and want to enhance it, the AI Assistant is there to help. You can use it to find alternative wording that aligns with your style guide.
[en] To rewrite content, follow these steps:

[en] Open the Sidebar and click the AI Assistant tab. If needed, select a style guide. By default, the Assistant will use the style guide settings from the Sidebar.

[en] Copy the text that you would like to rephrase and paste it into the text field. No prompt needed.

[en] Click the arrow icon or press the Enter key to submit your request. The output and Acrolinx Score will appear after a few seconds.

[en] (Optional) To adjust the output, give Acrolinx additional instructions like "Rephrase it," "Make it shorter" or "Elaborate." This will create new a new text output.

Tipp
[en] When you ask questions or write prompts, it's best to use simple, direct language. Split up long sentences, remove any unnecessary details, and be as specific as possible. For example, instead of "Write a follow-up" you could say “Write a follow-up to the previous text.”
