We've updated the third-party libraries, and with that, we've updated one library that had the critical CVE-2022-36067.
We recommend that you update your Acrolinx for CLI to version 1.4.
This release, we’ve improved the way that the CLI checks big groups of files. This means you're in for smoother sailing when you run a batch check. We've also added support for macOS Monterey.
The CLI should work with earlier platform versions, however, we suggest you use:
-
Acrolinx Platform version 2021.03 or later
The following operating systems are supported:
-
Windows 10
-
Linux (Ubuntu 18.04 and later)
-
Big Sur and Monterey
We're excited to bring you an even smoother batch checking experience in the CLI. If the Core Platform ever becomes unresponsive for a single request within a batch check, it won't stop checking all files. Instead, you'll see a warning about the affected file, and the CLI will cancel that check. The cancellation won't affect the rest of the files in the batch check, though.
With this service release, we're addressing a security issue found in the node-fetch library. Since we use this library, we recommend that you update to version 1.2.1 of the CLI.
The Acrolinx CLI should work with earlier platform versions, however, we suggest the following:

macOS Catalina and later
One of the third-party libraries that the CLI uses had a security issue. That's why we've updated this library to the newest version, which came with a fix. To get the fix, we encourage you to update the CLI.
For more information about the issue, go to the description in the GitHub Advisory Database.
