Overview of Analytics Configuration Properties

You can use the properties in the following table to configure settings for the Analytics server.

If you're on an Acrolinx Private Cloud instance and are interested in these configurations, contact us and we'll set them for you!

If you're a Standard Stack user, you can edit the analyticsserver.properties from the configuration directory. Depending on your installation, your path might look like this: <config directory>/server/bin/analyticsserver.properties.

com.acrolinx.jreport.internal.listenHost=0.0.0.0

com.acrolinx.jreport.jsp.listenHost=0.0.0.0

Description

Restrict the address that the Analytics server listens on. It's set to 0.0.0.0 by default. You can set it to 127.0.0.1 (localhost) for added security if the Analytics server and core server are on the same computer.

Description

The two TCP ports that the Analytics server listens on.

These two ports are assigned randomly at startup by default. Each time the Analytics server restarts, two new ports are reassigned.

Description

Secure the Analytics server with HTTPS.

Properties	`com.acrolinx.jreport.jr.level=error`
Description	JReport logging level. To investigate JReport, set this property to `debug` and restart the Analytics server. You'll find the log `analyticsserver.log` in the Acrolinx Platform resource .yaml file.
