Acrolinx sunsets development and technical support on older products. This allows us to focus our resources and make sure that our current products and services are optimal.
Acrolinx provides technical support for the latest versions and the versions immediately preceding them. Learn more about our support policies.
One exception to the sunset policy is when customers with a discontinued version upgrade to a current version. To assist these customers, support for the older version is available.
When a version is sunsetted or retired, Acrolinx will inform you via the customer newsletter.
Acrolinx will immediately sunset older integration versions when a new version of an integration is released. That way, we can continuously innovate and update our technology. For the latest updates on integrations sunsetting and other news, visit Integrations Announcements.
Since we've introduced the Sidebar Integrations, we've stopped adding new features to the Classic Integrations.
Acrolinx generally supports the last two host-editor versions. If a host editor drops support for a version of their own product, Acrolinx will drop support for that version as well.

At Acrolinx, we’re committed to offering you integrations in your preferred working environment. However, there are cases where integrations are no longer feasible for us to maintain. In these situations, we may decide to discontinue an integration. Once we reach this decision, we’ll announce that we’re sunsetting the affected integration. We’ll continue to support the integration for the 12 months that follow the announcement.
