Configure Acrolinx for Drupal.
Set Up Single Sign-On (SSO)
Before you can use Acrolinx for Drupal, you'll need to set up SSO for Acrolinx. To do this, follow the process in the article Set Up Acrolinx for Single Sign-on.
Connect to Your Acrolinx Platform
Once you've installed Acrolinx for Drupal, you need to configure Drupal to route internal checking requests to Acrolinx.
To configure the connection to Acrolinx, follow these steps:
-
Open the Manage panel in Drupal, and navigate to Configuration > Content Authoring > Acrolinx settings.
-
In the dialog boxes that appear, make the following changes:
-
In the Acrolinx Server address field, enter your Acrolinx URL.
-
In the Single sign-on password field, enter the general access token that you configured in the core server properties file when you set up single sign-on for Acrolinx.
-
-
Click Save configuration.
Optional: Embed Check Data
Acrolinx for Drupal supports embedding your check results directly in your document, and displaying them in the Drupal UI.
Notice
You'll first need to make some changes to an Acrolinx Platform properties file. You can find the steps in the article Embed Check Data for Sidebar Integrations.
To embed check data in Drupal, do the following:
-
In the Drupal Manage panel, navigate to Structure > Content types.
-
Choose the content type you'd like to Embed Check Data into (for example, Article) and go to Manage fields > + Add field.
-
Go to the Add a new field dropdown, and select Acrolinx Check Data.
-
Label the field (it can be whatever you like) and click Save and continue. This creates a new field. You might also see a page where you can edit the field settings. If you do, you leave all field settings as they are.
-
Check data will now be embedded in your Drupal files. Edit some content to try it out.
