Learn how to run an Acrolinx check in Microsoft 365 SharePoint.
You can use the Batch Check feature to check all documents in your library at once. To do this, you need list management rights for your library.
First of all, make sure you've configured Acrolinx for your library.
Tip
Acrolinx will only check documents where a user has at least read permission.
To run a check, do the following
-
Go to the library that you'd like to check.
-
Select the documents that you want to check. If you don't select any documents, Acrolinx will check your entire library.
-
Click theAcrolinxribbon group and selectBatch Check to run a check. If you've selected specific documents, you'll want to choose Check your Selection.
-
Once the check finishes, you'll see a link to the Content Analysis Dashboard.
Note
If you've never checked a document before, make sure it isn’t open for its first check. When the file is open during its first check, you'll see the following error:
Error: ServerException
Message: The file "FILE_PATH" is locked for shared use by USER.
You can also turn on automated checking in the library. When you do this, Acrolinx automatically checks documents each time you save them in or upload them to Word, Excel, or PowerPoint Online. Acrolinx will also automatically display the document score in the UI.
To get started, see Configure Acrolinx for Your Library.
Tip
Don't see the score right away? Try to refresh the page.
After you save a document, it can take a few minutes for the check to run.
