Important
In cases where you need to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Office, be sure to uninstall Acrolinx for Office on Windows first. After you reinstall Microsoft Office, you can install the compatible version of Acrolinx for Office on Windows.
If you do the installation yourself, ask your Acrolinx administrator for the installer file. You might have it already, if you and the Acrolinx administrator are the same person.
Here's how to install Acrolinx:

Close all Microsoft Office programs.

Double-click the installer in Windows and follow the on-screen instructions.

Optional: To specify preferences during installation, yse the MSI installer properties listed in the Acrolinx for Office Admin Guide .
You don't have to remove the previous version of Acrolinx for Office on Windows to install a newer version. To upgrade Acrolinx for Office on Windows, follow the standard installation procedure.
