With this release, we've brought back Embed Check Data and fixed some bugs.
Embed Check Data - In previous releases, Embed Check Data was removed. Now it's back. Learn more about it in Embed Check Data for Sidebar-Edition Integrations.
This release, we've made a couple of improvements to make sure Acrolinx for XMetaL keeps working where you need it.
-
Removed Internet Explorer components from the Sidebar - Previous versions of Acrolinx for XMetaL used Internet Explorer 11 components. This caused some hiccups when you tried to use the Sidebar without Internet Explorer 11. You won't have this issue anymore — we now use Microsoft Edge Chromium to show our Sidebar.
-
Added support for newer XMetaL versions - We've added support for XMetaL 17 and 18.

This service release takes care of a small bug that affected automatic scrolling in long texts.
Acrolinx for XMetaL 1.4.1 requires the following:
-
Acrolinx Platform version 2019.11 or later
Sometimes when you checked a long text, Acrolinx didn't automatically scroll to issues in the text when you clicked on an issue card in the Sidebar. Instead, you had to manually scroll to find the highlighted issue. We've fixed this. Acrolinx is back to scrolling as expected.
In this service release, we've added support for the new XMetaL 15 and fixed an issue that affected the replacement response time.

We’ve updated our integration to include support for the new release of XMetaL 15. With this added support, we've dropped support for XMetaL 12.
