Issue

Acrolinx users in the People's Republic of China may not be able to connect to an Acrolinx Core Platform hosted in the cloud.  

Cause

The Acrolinx hosted cloud platform requires only a working HTTPS connection on port 443. While this should generally not be a problem, availability in the People's Republic of China can’t be guaranteed or supported by Acrolinx due to the Great Firewall.

Solution 

We recommend you have a VPN connection to a location outside of the People's Republic of China for using the Acrolinx hosted cloud.
