The Core Platform is designed to scale to support a large number of parallel users.
The diagram shows which parts of Acrolinx you can scale by:
- adding additional language servers,
- investing in more hardware, or
- connecting an external database for terminology and analytics.
If you can configure "only" one database URL for an external database, then the database server scales only vertically and not horizontally even if you use a database cluster.
