How Can a New User Enter a Password When They Use Automatic User Registration from Clients?

• If you use a Classic Windows SDK Acrolinx Integration (Word, Arbortext, FrameMaker), then no. If you register for the first time from the Acrolinx Integration, then you can’t enter a password. After you enter the username, Acrolinx creates your account and you won't be prompted to enter a password. If you need a password, your Acrolinx admin would need to enter a password for your username in the Dashboard.
• If you use a Classic Java SDK integration (Oxygen), then yes. If you register for the first time from the Acrolinx URL dialog, then you can enter both a username and a password.
• If you use a Sidebar Acrolinx Integration, then yes. If you register for the first time from the Sidebar, then you can enter both a username and a password.
