You want to open the Sidebar simultaneously with a new document.
With the current platform version, the simultaneous opening isn’t possible.
To reduce the effort of opening the Sidebar, you can add the Sidebar to the Quick Access Toolbar.
To Add the Acrolinx Sidebar to the Quick Access Toolbar, follow these steps:
Open Word and go to “ File →Options →Quick Access Toolbar ”
Add Acrolinx to the Toolbar (see screenshot below)
- Click OK
- You can now open the Sidebar using the Acrolinx-button (see Word screenshot below).
You need to repeat this procedure for every Host-Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
