Your writing guide (rule set) doesn’t save when selected in Oxygen Acrolinx Integration?

Cause

When using the Oxygen Acrolinx Integration (in combination with Checking Profiles, an unassigned writing guide (rule set) may not be saved after checking. Instead, the checking options will default to the previous writing guide (rule set) the next time you go to check.

This behavior can occur if a writing guide (rule set) isn’t assigned to any of your Checking Profiles.

Solution

To avoid this, create a new Checking Profile with the desired writing guide (rule set) associated with it. The Oxygen Acrolinx Integration can then save the writing guide (rule set) in your check settings, preventing the need to always select the writing guide (rule set) for subsequent checks.
