Notice
The Approved Messaging goal is now called Reuse to match the Reuse feature.
The Reuse goal lets you set the preferred expressions for a style guide. Acrolinx finds expressions with wording similar to what you’ve chosen as representative in the Reuse section. After a check, you can replace expressions that have the same meaning as your set preference.
Acrolinx Reuse lets you add approved phrases in sets. A set is where you group wording that belongs together. Learn how to create sets in the Reuse Quick Start.
Add the Reuse goal to the style guides where you want to check for preferred wording. Acrolinx will always suggest the approved wording to your writers.
You can select one or more sets that match the language of the style guide from Reuse.
To add a Reuse set to your style guide, follow these steps:
-
Go to Style > Style guides and click the name of the style guide to which you want to add Reuse sets.
-
Click the goal Reuse to expand it.
Tip
Don't see the Reuse goal in your style guide? Click Edit style guide to add it.
-
Click the plus icon to open a dropdown with the available sets.
-
Select the set that you want to check with and click SAVE.
