To open a saved filter, do the following:
You can have several filters open at the same time.
You can switch between open filters in the navigation menu. Each open filter appears as a menu item under Terminology > Manage terms.
To close a filter and remove it from the navigation menu, click the close icon. If you navigate to Terminology > Manage terms, you'll get the last unsaved filter that you had open.
Suppose that you manage different lists of terms for different projects. You'll probably want to save those lists as filters and share them with people who work on the same projects.
You can share your filters with anyone as long as they have a role that has the "term edit" privilege. To view your privileges, go to Profile and settings > My settings
To share a filter, follow these steps:

Open your filter and navigate to
Actions > Change filter sharing... .

Select the usernames of the people who you want to share your filter with.
To stop sharing a filter with someone, just select their name in the Filter recipients list.

Click OK to confirm your changes.
You can add your terminology to a specific style guide. That way, you make sure your writers use the right terms. In the Terminology category, you can add the terminology from one or more domains or a term filter to the check. To make a term filter available, you need to share it with style guides first.
Before you start sharing, make sure that you have a role with the privilege "Share filters with the term browser." To see your privileges, go to Profile and settings > My settings
To share a filter with style guides, follow these steps:

Open your filter and navigate to Actions
> Share with style guides.
Tip
If you see a grayed out menu item, it could be that you're trying to share someone else's filter. You can only share a filter with style guides if you create it.

Click OK in the confirmation prompt that appears. The filter will appear in the Include terms from a term filter dropdown in the Terminology category.
You can also stop sharing a filter with term Browser users. To do so, select Actions
> Stop sharing with style guides list.
Not everyone has full access to Acrolinx. You might have freelance writers who occasionally use the term browser to look up official product names and terminology. No problem — you can share your filter with them, too.
Before you start sharing, make sure that you have a role with the privilege "Share filters with the term browser." To view your privileges, click Profile and settings > My settings.
To share a filter with term browser users, follow these steps:

Open your filter and navigate to Actions
> Share with term browseru Users.
Tip
If you see a grayed out menu item, it could be that you're trying to share someone else's filter. You can share filters that you create.

In the confirmation prompt that appears, select if you want the filter to be the default filter that loads when people open the term browser.
If you don't want to make it the default filter, just click OK without selecting anything.
You can also stop sharing a filter with Term Browser users; select Actions
> Stop sharing with term browser users.
