Danger
The support for classic Reuse will end with the 2023.10 release. We've introduced a modernized Reuse feature with an improved UI and more checking capabilities. Learn more about it in our Reuse Quick Start.
Sentence banks store the raw source data that you can use to create reuse repositories. Unlike a reuse repository, the sentences in a sentence bank aren’t grouped into clusters.
To build up a sentence bank and experiment with different clustering settings, you can create several reuse repositories from the same set of harvested sentences. You can also create several sentence banks to store sentences from different types of content.
To create a sentence bank, follow these steps:
-
Open the page Reuse > Repository Tools > Sentence Harvesting and click New.
-
In the New Sentence Bank dialog box, enter a name and select a language for the sentence bank.
-
Click OK to create a new sentence bank. It's automatically selected as the default sentence bank for the defined language.
To collect sentences with your Acrolinx Integration, you need to define a default sentence bank for each checking language.
To set a default sentence bank for a checking language, follow these steps:
-
Open the page Reuse > Repository Tools > Sentence Harvesting.
-
In the Defaultcolumn, choose a sentence bank that will store the harvested sentences in your required checking language.
Tip
If you have sentences banks in several languages, you can choose one sentence bank for each language.
The changes take effect immediately.
To view the content of a sentence bank, do the following:
-
Click the name of a sentence bank in the Sentence Banks section of the Sentence Harvesting page.
-
To sort the sentences alphabetically or by Acrolinx Score, click the column headers.
Tip
If you find faulty sentences, you can click DELETE to remove them from the sentence bank.
