Acrolinx Sidebar - Version 14.3.1 (14 March 2017)
This is a minor release that includes a few small features. This sidebar update only affects the public cloud sidebar and integrations that use the cloud sidebar. To learn more about the cloud sidebar, see this article about where the sidebar comes from . If you’re not sure whether your integration uses the cloud sidebar, check this page . Integrations with an asterisk, *, in the table use the cloud sidebar by default.
You Can Now Sign out of Any Acrolinx Integration
Previously, you could only sign out of Acrolinx integrations that used the cloud sidebar. You can now go to the slide-out menu and quickly find the Sign Out button . If you're used to signing out of the sidebar already, we've moved the Sign Out button from the Options tab to the slide-out menu. Keep in mind that if you're using single sign-on then you won't see the Sign Out button in your sidebar. For more details, see the article How can I sign in and out of the Acrolinx sidebar? in this help center.
New Acrolinx Server Sign-In Section
You can now change your server address from the sidebar for Acrolinx integrations such as Acrolinx for Chrome or Firefox and Acrolinx for Google Docs. You'll only see this new sign-in section if writers are required to enter the server address. If you set the server address in the Options or Preferences of your Acrolinx integration, then the sidebar will open and prompt you to enter your sign-in details as usual. For more details, see the sidebar integration architecture diagram in this help center.
Improved Access to Guidance From Issue Cards
We've removed the help icon from the actions in the issue cards. You don't need this help anymore because you can now open additional help by clicking anywhere on the issue card itself. And if you're not using compact view, then you can get even more guidance by clicking MORE INFORMATION on the issue card.
Scorecard Won't Open If Browser Pop-Up Blocker Is On
If you use the Acrolinx Firefox add-on or the Acrolinx Chrome extension, you might need to allow access to pop-ups to open the Scorecard from the sidebar. For more details, see the article Why doesn't my scorecard or guidance open in Acrolinx browser extensions? in this help center.
