Acrolinx Sidebar - Version 13.1 (18 August 2015)
The Sidebar Now Displays Server Notifications
Server notifications let you know that checking might be affected by server maintenance or planned server outages. The new Acrolinx sidebar can now display these server notifications. If you haven't worked with server notifications before, you can set them up in the Acrolinx server Dashboard.
Acrolinx Correctly Prompts Writers to Enter Their Custom User and Document Information
If you've set up Acrolinx to collect custom information, your writers can now enter this information before they open the sidebar and run a check.
Display the Customized Name of Admitted Terms in the Product
In your Acrolinx Server installation, you can configure a separate flag for admitted terms . With this, you can also customize the name of the admitted terms' status. However, we only displayed this customized name in the shortcut menu of most of our Windows-based products, for example the Microsoft Office plug-ins. Since this version, we display the customized name in the interface of this product.
Ignore in Whole Document
You can now ignore issues across an entire document. Previously, it was only possible to ignore one card at a time. If you get multiple cards for the same spelling issue, for example, you can now temporarily ignore all and the cards will be removed from the sidebar.
Replace in Whole Document
You can now replace multiple occurrences of a suggestion across an entire document. Previously, if Acrolinx found multiple instances of the same issue, you had to replace each individually. If you get multiple cards for the spelling or terminology issue, you can choose to replace in whole document when you select the suggestion.
