What You Should Know Before Installing
Before you install Acrolinx for Creative Cloud, make sure that you have the following software installed:

IntroductionYou can use Acrolinx for Creative Cloud to make content quality a part of your creative process.
To get started, review the following tasks and concepts:

Here's how to install Acrolinx:
- In a browser window, open the Acrolinx for Adobe CC page. You might need to sign in with your Adobe ID first.
- Click Install to install the Acrolinx for Adobe CC add-on.
After about a minute, a notification message appears briefly on your desktop to let you
know that you installed the add-on. If you miss the notification, check your Creative Cloud
desktop application Activity Stream.
Once you've installed the add-on, the Acrolinx menu will appear when you open or create a document.

You don't need to do anything to update Acrolinx for Adobe Creative Cloud, it happens automatically.
A notification message appears in your Creative Cloud desktop application to let you know that you updated the add-on.
Acrolinx is available as soon as you open or create a document, but you'll need to show the sidebar before you can start checking.
To show the sidebar, select Acrolinx > Show Sidebar in the menu.
You can also show or hide the sidebar from the docking area.
To change your Acrolinx server address or the location of your logs, select Acrolinx > Options in the menu.
