The error message "User license already in use - message ID #8" appears when a user attempts to connect to the Acrolinx Server. The error details usually specify that the user is blocked from for a certain period of time.
This error is usually triggered when one person uses multiple computers, and switches from one to the other too quickly. This message can also appear when multiple users are sharing the same user ID.

Resolving the Problem
Try to connect to the server again after the specified period in the error details has elapsed. Check that no other user in your organization is using the same user ID as you.
