|Acrolinx Server||All versions|
After you start the Acrolinx Server, one of the installed language servers triggers endless reloads of the language configuration. The affected language server appears to be constantly reloading the language configuration in the Dashboard.
This problem might occur when you are using a cloned computer that is running a duplicate instance of the Acrolinx Server. The language server on the cloned computer connects to the original computer and triggers repeated reloads of the language configuration.
To confirm the cause of the problem you can analyze the log files of the language server. If the problem is caused by a cloned server installation, the log files contain two entries about the language server that initiated the reload task. One entry will have a constantly changing ID (the real server) while the other entry always has the same ID (the cloned server).
Resolving the Problem
To prevent endless reloads of the language configuration:
- Use a network analyzer to identify which computer in your organization is triggering the reload requests.
- Stop the Acrolinx Server on the cloned computer or shut down computer completely.
