The warning message "<NUMBER> errors or tokens have been found in read-only text elements" appears after users have run a check.
This message means that either the document itself, or certain parts of the document were write-protected during the check. This can often occur if the document is referencing elements contained externally. If this is the case, our software is unable to mark flags within the document because it does not have the permissions to temporarily write inside the referenced document. The only way the Acrolinx software can highlight that an error may exist in a document that may be partially or entirely write-protected, is by displaying the suspected word/sentence in the checking report.
Resolving the Problem
You cannot avoid this error message, but you can review the read-only issues in the checking report after reviewing the flags in the document. Read-only issues are not listed separately in the checking report but you can isolate read-only issues by correcting all other flags in the document and running the check again.
