Symptoms
When users click a flag for a term that contains special characters such as hyphens, the suggestion that is displayed in the shortcut menu contains square boxes instead of the correct characters.

Causes
In older versions of Adobe FrameMaker, special characters cannot be rendered correctly in the Acrolinx shortcut menu.
Resolving the Problem
The only way to resolve this issue is to upgrade to a newer version of Adobe FrameMaker such as version 10 or later.
Note that this issue does not interfere with replacements. Special characters are still replaced correctly in all versions
