In older versions of the Dashboard, the Dashboard and Term Browser pages open, but only the headers are visible and the web browser reports that there is an error in the web page.
This issue occurred because some components in older versions of the Dashboard were incompatible with Internet Explorer 8.
Resolving the Problem
Access the Dashboard with "IE 7 compatibility" turned on. To display the website with Internet Explorer 7 compatibility, click the Compatibility View toolbar button in Internet Explorer 8. The compatibility view corrects display problems such as misaligned text, images, or text boxes.
It is also possible to add a site to a list within Internet Explorer 8 for sites that should be displayed in compatibility view. From the command bar, select Tools , and then select Compatibility View Settings to add and remove sites from this list.
