The Batch Check Window
You can use the Batch Check window to check a set of documents in a directory or directory structure without opening them separately.
Before you can run batch checks in Acrolinx, this feature must be enabled in your license. If you receive a licensing error when you attempt to run a batch check, contact your Acrolinx project consultant to have your license updated.
To open the Batch Check Window, select the Batch Check option from the Acrolinx menu.

To start a batch check, follow these steps:
the Acrolinx menu.
Select the Batch Check option from the Acrolinx group.
In the file selection section, select the base
The plug-in only lists files with the .doc or .docx extension. All other formats are automatically ignored.
- (Optional) Deselect individual files that shouldn't be included in the check.
If your batch check is likely to run overnight, temporarily update your Windows configuration so that Windows updates are not applied automatically. This change ensures that your batch check is not canceled by a system restart after Windows updates are installed.
