We've removed the documentation that's packaged with the Excel plug-in. Now, when you select "Help" in the Excel plug-in, you'll be taken to the article Using Acrolinx in your Editor - Classic Edition in this help center.
We want to make sure that you get the most up-to-date help so that's why we take you to the online help center. If you have writers who need offline help, you can click the PDF button at the top of an article. Download the PDF and distribute it to the writers who need to access the information offline.
We've added support for Microsoft Office 2016. We now support Microsoft Office 2010, 2013 and 2016.
We've added support for Windows 10.
Acrolinx for Microsoft Excel - Version 4.2 (16 January 2015)
This is the first release of the Acrolinx Plug-in for Microsoft Excel. The plug-in contains the default features of the latest Windows SDK, for example support for the checking profiles user interface. Also, this version includes the Acrolinx Scorecard for customers who connect to an Acrolinx server version 4 or later.
The user documentation has been added to the infocenter.
- Check selected cell ranges in your Excel spreadsheets.
- Select checking profiles in the user interface.
- Add custom user and document information for analytics purposes.
- Display the Acrolinx Scorecard with detailed information about your check results.
The Acrolinx Plug-in for Microsoft Excel supports Microsoft Excel versions 2010 and 2013 (32- and 64-bit MSI, Click-to-run, and Office 365 versions).
