|Does the Acrolinx Content Analyzer run on your operating system?||The Acrolinx Content Analyzer runs on the following operating systems:
Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Mac OS X 10.10 and later
Important note : To use the Content Analyzer on Microsoft Windows, you need to install Microsoft Visual C++.
We've included it in the Content Analyzer installer. When you run the Content Analyzer installation wizard, you might see a Microsoft Visual C++ window. Agree to the terms and click Install.
|Do you know the address of the Acrolinx Server?||To use the Acrolinx Content Analyzer, you need to have access to an Acrolinx Server. Check with your administrator to find out the address of your Acrolinx Server.|
|Are you using a supported web browser?||For Acrolinx Content Analyzer to display information correctly, you need to have a supported web browser.
To see the list of currently supported web browser, open our compatibility spreadsheet and click the WebBrowsers tab.
|Does the Acrolinx Content Analyzer support the files you want to check?||The Content Analyzer checks files that are of type TXT, XML, HTML, and PDF*. As well as locally stored files, the Content Analyzer can check web pages across one or more websites. To find web pages, the Content Analyzer follows all the links from the given URLs, and continues following links on web pages that are found from the given URLs. The Content Analyzer only searches for HTML pages.|
