Outlook

  • Text fields in locally saved emails

Warning

Currently, Acrolinx for Mac is only compatible with the legacy version of Outlook for Mac. To switch to the legacy version follow the Microsoft instructions.

Acrolinx doesn't check the email address fields (to, cc, and bcc) and the subject line.

PowerPoint

  • Locally saved files in the Normal view

Sometimes, Acrolinx checks part of your content but can't highlight the issue or automatically insert suggestions. If a Sidebar card is inactive and has a padlock icon, you can still edit the issue directly in the text..This might happen for issues in:

  • Grouped shapes

  • Comments

  • SmartArt

  • Charts - Note that Acrolinx doesn't check axis labels.

Sketch

  • Content in all text layers

In Sketch, Acrolinx doesn't highlight issues in the text. When you click on the card title, it navigates and zooms in to the text layer that contains the issue.

Word

  • Text fields in locally saved files

Sometimes, Acrolinx checks part of your content but can't highlight issues or automatically insert suggestions. If a Sidebar card is inactive and has a padlock icon, you can still edit the issue directly in the text. This might happen for issues in:

  • Headers and footers

  • Footnotes and endnotes

  • SmartArt and WordArt

  • Comments

  • Textboxes

  • Hidden text
