What You Should Know Before Installing
Before you install Acrolinx for WordPress, make sure that you have the following software installed:

IntroductionYou can use Acrolinx for WordPress to include content quality checks into your CMS workflow. This article covers the main steps to get you working comfortably with Acrolinx for WordPress. To get started, take a look through the following tasks and concepts:
Once you've installed Acrolinx for WordPress, you can use the Sidebar to check content on any page with editable content fields, except media files in your media library.
If you're on a page with editable content fields, you'll see Acrolinx next to the Add Media option in the menu bar. Click it to make the Acrolinx Sidebar appear.
Acrolinx for WordPress checks content from all editable fields on the page. This includes the title, description, and custom text fields.
The Sidebar is available in English, German, French and Swedish.
To change your interface language follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > General .
- Choose your preferred language from the Site Language dropdown.
- Save your changes.
Embed Check Data is a feature in Acrolinx for WordPress that lets you view a convenient summary of your content quality. Your Acrolinx Score, time stamp, and link to the Scorecard all get saved and displayed directly in WordPress.
Once your Acrolinx administrator has enabled Embed Check Data, you'll see an extra field showing your Acrolinx Score, time stamp, and link to the Scorecard while you edit your content.
