For improvements to security, the core server now uses port 8032 for communication and not port 8031.
To ensure that your language servers can still connect to your core server, you may need to update the port numbers in the ls-<NUMBER>.properties files. These files are located in your configuration directory.
On a Windows installation the ls-<NUMBER>.properties files are found in:
On a UNIX installation they are found in:
You need to open these files and ensure the port number is updated to port 8032. Or if it's not defined, you may need to define it. For example, if all my services are running as localhost, my ls-01.properties would now include this:
## core server endpoint address
And I would make the same change to each ls-<NUMBER>.properties file required for my language servers.
After making these changes and stopping/starting (not restarting) all Acrolinx services, your language servers should once again be connected to the core server.
If this doesn't help, or if you have any further issues after upgrading to Acrolinx Server V5.4, please get in contact with Acrolinx Support.
